Amrik Sukhdev Dhaba is the closest place in Delhi NCR for a day outing located at Delhi-Ambala National Highway. This dhaba stands at number 23 in Taste Atlas because of its famous fluffy aloo paratha served with desi makkhan and chai. The famous dhaba is about 72 km from Delhi and Gurugram that takes hardly 2 hours to reach.
Amrik Sukhdev Dhaba was started in 1956 by Sardar Prakash Singh as a road side food stall serving only Parathas with Makkhan under a tent with khaats to help truck drivers commuting through this route take rest and have food. As it is said in hindi ” Ache Karm Karo Fal BHi Acha Hoga “, in the year 2000 sons of Sardar Prakash Singh expanded the business and now they serve every vegetarian food in a proper restaurant serving upto 8000-10000 customers daily who are going towards Punjab and Himachal and the number goes to 13000-15000 on weekends. The dhaba has grown from 6-7 charpais to the seating capacity of 500-600 customers at a time.
The dhaba is at a really big space with 3 seating area along with parking and local shops. They are open 24/7 with about 10000 employees working in rotational shifts.

Whatever they cook, the ingredients are homely grown, they use desi ghee, peanut oil, and mustard oil for cooking; also the water used in cooking is RO cleaned and utensils used are of brass. So in short they are giving their best in providing healthy and pure food.
The restaurant is easily accessible from Delhi NCR and any other city by road or you can take train till Sonipat and then auto that hardly takes 20 minutes.
